It's important when coming into work like this that we have a set of agreements. This will form our work together and the work of the community. We'll talk more about some of these agreements when we begin.

* PAYMENT + PAYMENT PLANS

You are contractually bound to the financial agreement we've made. This means you owe the full amount of money you agree to pay when you sign up for this programme. If you need to shift the terms of your payment plan for any reason, please let me know in writing. I aim to be as flexible as possible and always ask for open communication so we can work together to support you. Please let me know at the earliest opportunity if you need any extra support.
 
*REFUNDS 

Because of the nature of this programme (community, teaching + participation) there are no refunds, transfers or exchanges.

*ADDITIONAL SUPPORT

I offer additional one-to-one support at a lower cost to support you through the programme. I will provide a link to all participants to allow you to book in and pay for any additional support. If you need this support and you're unable to meet the financial commitment, please write to me and let me know. This is deep work and I aim to support everyone as much as possible, and I also ask that you commit to support if you need it.

You can email me if you need any logistical support e.g. tech support, scheduling + billing.

* PARTICIPATION

Participation is a critical element of this programme, by signing up you agree to participate and regularly attend the live sessions. All sessions are recorded. Over the 6 months there may be sessions you're unable to make and that's OK. I ask for you to make a commitment not only for yourself, but the people you journey with. You show-up for you, and for others. We cultivate community and relationships through participation.

* THE SCOPE OF LIFE'S POETRY

We go deep into the territory of grief, this is a deep space. We do this together and I ask that you take care and responsibility of yourself, as we take care of each other. This needs care.

*CREDENTIALS

I am an associate certified coach, registered nutritional therapist, functional medicine practitioner, I have experience in hospice work and I'm an apprentice of Francis Weller. You can find my full list of credentials on my website. I am not a therapist. I aim to bring you my lived experience, as well as all the continuous learning and unlearning I do in this field. I am deeply committed to this field of work and have been on this journey for over 20 years. I have regular support and mentorship.

* HIERARCHY

I am working to unlearn what it is to live in systems of oppression. I aim to remove hierarchy throughout this programme and oppressive modes of working. This means we come to this with a sense of adult presence (we explore this in our time together), without needing perfection. I facilitate and guide through this process, and I trust your wisdom.

* OPEN COMMUNICATION

Open communication is important and I ask that if anything isn't working for you during our time together that you commit to speaking with me about this.

* SAFETY

I am to make Life's Poetry as safe as possible for everyone. I also know that it is impossible to promise safety, as it different for each and every one of us. I'm here to talk about this, and to listen to what's needed for everyone who participates.

I reserve the right to remove anyone from the programme without refund, if there is cause of disruption, abuse or harassment, and also for people's own safety. I have never had to this on any of my programmes, but it's important to have this as part of our agreements.

* WELLNESS + WELLBEING

I struggle with these words to be honest (and we can explore why), but I do need to ensure you're well enough to take part in Life's Poetry. By agreeing here, you agree that you are well and able, and have the support in place to take part in this journey.

* CONTENT

All content provided is for your personal use only. Please do not share.

* CONFIDENTIALITY + RESPECT

Everything shared within the space is confidential. I will share anonymously with my mentors and supervisors only for the benefit of you and our time together.

I ask that you keep everything shared within Life's Poetry confidential. You can share your own experiences but honour that of the other participants.

We come together in mutual respect.
